Mata Vaishno Devi :
The holy temple of Mata Vaishno Devi has situated approximately 45 km from Jammu and 10 km from the Bus Stand / Railway Station of Katra. I personally traveled with direct Jammu to Katra Taxi service as the road journeys always excite me. It is fun while traveling through the beautiful valleys and temple, breathing fresh air, meeting new people, exploring a new city and the incessantly chant ‘Jai Mata Di’ helps us to take this route for lifetime travel and adventure memories.
How To reach Vaishno Devi :
To reach the holy temple, tourists need to trek a 13 km path which is surrounded with a variety of shops to sell eatables like hot and delicious Maggi and beverages in all season even if it is wind or rain. If nature calls you, you can simply go to the washrooms or restrooms located every 0.5 km approx. There is a separate lane for the people who are unable to complete the trek to reach the temple, then they are carried away by animals such as donkeys, horses, etc. After reaching the midway point of the climb, Ardkunvari then you have two options to go. One to travel uphill towards the temple and the other way take you to witness a tiny cave that signifies the journey of a baby in the womb of the mother. Getting from Jammu to Katra via road is the best option and the Book Jammu to Katra Taxi.

Everyone who is willing to visit the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi have to get an advance Yatra Registration Access Card as this card is like your visa and keep it safe, and securely with you until you are finished with your temple darshan.
